Iran (IP)- Iranian government spokesman has pointed out that the Raisi administration has no plans to change energy prices.

Iran PressIran news: In a press conference on Tuesday, Ali Bahadori Jahromi said: "The government does not have a price plan in the field of energy. One of the main axes in this field is fuel smuggling. The Ministry of Petroleum is looking to improve the procedures one by one. Everyone should try to use personal fuel cards."

"The general rule is the change of managers, management evaluations, and special events which are considered the routine of the administration, but the administration does not intend to make any changes in the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade."

The spokesman said: "The president's meetings with different groups have been held so far, nine meetings have been held, and the president will have two more meetings in total."

He added: "The main focus of the president's meetings in the holy month of Ramadan in the fields of economics, entrepreneurship, and elites has been to pay attention to the concerns of activists in the field."

Bahadri Jahormi said: "The upcoming visit of the president is the fourth trip from the second period to Khuzestan."

Elsewhere he stated: "The growth rate of industry, trade and mining has grown significantly during Fatemi Amin's tenure. The Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade has a very wide range of fields of activity, of which the automobile is considered a small part, and the thread of growth of industry, trade and mining has grown significantly during Fatemi Amin's tenure."

He added: "To evaluate the performance of this ministry, it is not possible to look at only one department, most of the issues are related to the automobile issue, for which different factors should be considered. Regardless of the automobile field, this ministry has a wide range of activities, the growth of GDP in the first nine months of last Iranian year was 5.1%. In the field of industry, the average quarterly growth rate has been 4.2%, which is more than two and a half times compared to the 11th and 12th governments, and the volume of foreign trade has also increased compared to before. We saw a significant decrease in producer inflation."

Regarding the government's measures to reduce inflation, Bahadri Jahormi said: "The disease of inflation has been blamed on Iran's economy, and we have been suffering from inflation for many years, so temporary treatments will not be enough and the roots of this problem must be eliminated, part of these roots are imbalances in the budget that curbing it was on the agenda of the government last year, and with the budget amendment bill, we are trying to eliminate the possible imbalances in this year's budget as well."
