Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's President, Ebrahim Raisi, on the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the national hero martyr Qassem Soleimani, said: "Martyr Soleimani is a role model for our society. He is a hero for Iran and the Islamic world as well as a hero of the fight against terrorism."
Raisi added that martyr Qaasem Soleimani is known as an efficient force to stand against the enemies and defend the people and Islamic values. He was a man of science, practice, politics, spirituality, diplomacy, and battlefield.
The Iranian president stated that Martyr Soleimani got both victory and martyrdom. He was able to conquer the occupied lands and hearts, which is the work of God. Martyr Soleimani has not been with us for several years, but his school of resistance remains brilliant.
Earlier, President Ebrahim Raisi strongly condemned a terrorist attack in the southeastern city of Kerman that killed and wounded hundreds of people, vowing that those responsible for the cowardly act would be identified and punished.
In a message offering condolences to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Iranian nation, and families of the victims, Raisi tasked relevant authorities to take swift measures to attend to those affected by the terrorist attack and restore order to Kerman.
Raisi described the attacks as a desperate attempt as they targeted women and children. Iran's president noted that the administration will go after the perpetrators of the attacks in Kerman and will undoubtedly bring them to justice after identifying the terrorists.
Also, Ismail Qaani, commander of IRGC's Quds Force, at the martyrdom anniversary of martyr Qassem Soleimani, said: "The martyrdom of Seyed Razi and the terrorist incident in Kerman shows how desperate the enemy is, but it does not know that the resistance and the Islamic Republic will not give up resistance against the Zionist regime no matter what it does."
At least 95 people were killed and 211 others wounded earlier in the day when two blasts went off at Kerman’s Martyrs Cemetery, where thousands of people had gathered to mark the fourth martyrdom anniversary of Iran’s legendary anti-terror commander General Qassem Soleimani. 219
