Pakistan (IP) - Following the instructions of the great leader Imam Khomeini, the last Friday of Ramadan was observed as the International Al-Quds Day throughout Pakistan.

Iran PressAsia: After Friday prayers, rallies and demonstrations against Israeli atrocities were held in various cities of the country, Karachi, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Sukkur, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu Kohat, Para Chinar, Quetta, Dera Murad Jamali, Gilgit, Skardu and Muzaffarabad of Kashmir.

Religious, political, and social figures expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and spoke against Israeli atrocities in their sermons and  strong protests were observed.

In Sindh, the International Al-Quds Rally was taken out from Karachi Exhibition Chowrangi to Tibet Center, which was addressed by Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, and Allama Syed Baqir Zaidi also addressed at the protest.

Quds Day Rally was taken out in Lahore, starting from Islampura and ending at the Assembly Hall, which was led by Allama Syed Ali Akbar Kazmi, while the Quds Day Rally was held in the southern Punjab city of Multan under the patronage of Saleem Siddiqui and Allama Syed Iqtar Hussain Naqvi.

While in the cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the rally in Abbottabad was led by Allama Jahanzeb Jafari. Al-Quds rally was held in Quetta, Balochistan, which was led by Allama Maqsood Ali Domki and Allama Syed Hashim Mousavi, the main rallies in Gilgit-Baltistan were led by Agha Syed Ali Rizvi and Allama Nayer Abbas Mustafavi.

Like the rest of the country, in Islamabad and Rawalpindi too, a central Al-Quds rally was held under the leadership of Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, newly elected Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, in which a large number of women, children, old and young people participated. After the Friday prayer, the huge rally started from Imam Bargah G-6-2 and ended at D Square, in which speakers spoke in support of the victims of Gaza and against Israeli brutality.

Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari addressing the rally participants said that Allah likes the oppressed to rise up and protest against the oppressor. Israel has been defeated and has come down to war crimes. Israel has lost on all fronts of the war, be it defense, legal, media, the cultural and political war has been badly lost, all conscious and freedom seekers should support the determination and courage of the people of Gaza.

He added, "Any ruler who talks about diplomatic, economic and political relations with Israel, the people should throw him out of the houses, every contact and relationship that weakens our motherland is forbidden, America is the killer of our children and daughters, we are the Palestinian people."

He said that we will not tolerate rulers who remain silent on atrocities, and boycott all Israeli products. "Israel will pay the price soon for the attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus."

Famous journalist from the Sikh community Harmeet Singh also addressed the participants and appealed to all the World to stand together against the brutality of Israel as this is not a problem of a Muslim country only, this is a matter of human rights.

All the releases through their scheduled routes were ended before Iftar.
