Iran Press/Iran news: Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf thanked the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters who resisted the Israeli regime with dignity, honor, courage, and tact and never allowed an inch of their land to be captured by the enemy.
Israel Accepted the ceasefire with Hezbollah at (02:00 GMT) on Wednesday after 417 days of brutal attacks when Palestinian resistance forces staged the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on 7 October 2023.
Stating that Iran welcomes the ceasefire in Lebanon, he expressed hope that peace will be established in Gaza as well.
He emphasized: "Netanyahu could not capture southern Lebanon even with 7 armies, so he had better not boast because he failed."
Qalibaf pointed out that Iran also has 'True Promise III' retaliatory operation against the Israeli regime on its way, the time of which itself is part of the operation, and that the response would be given to the regime in due time.
Around 2:15 AM (October 26), several explosions were reported in the western part of Tehran. Following this, the Israeli regime's Army (IOF) confirmed an attack on certain military targets in Iran.
In response, Tehran Air Defense Public Relations announced that these sounds were due to the air defense response at three points outside the capital.
