Iran Press/Iran News: The growth has been achieved in the first quarter of this year, in comparison with the past Iranian calendar year (ended on March 21), Saeed Zarandi noted, stressing: "13 products experienced a decline, and one product remained stable."
Speaking during the coordination meeting of the monitoring system, Zarandi added: "This year is called "Surge in Production", and the importance of monitoring the status of the country's production and monitoring the production of selected industrial products that have a share of about 60% in the value-added of the industrial sector has been on the agenda of the Ministry. The products of about 3000 selected main units active in industry and mining are regularly monitored as well."
According to the official, this growth is achieved in a situation where the country is dealing with the coronavirus outbreak and the production sector could experience growth in the first quarter of the Iranian calendar year (started on March 21) despite all the problems and limitations that arose for the Iranian economy last year.
