Tokyo (IP) - A group of pro-Palestinian people in Japan held a protest gathering on Thursday outside the US Embassy in Tokyo to condemn the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza.

Iran PressAsia: The protest gatherings are held in Japan and at the same time, the mayor of Nagasaki did not allow the representative of the Israeli regime to attend the commemoration ceremony to mark the US nuclear bombardment of the Japanese city.

Despite the pressure the Western countries exerted on the mayor of Nagasaki to invite the representative of the Zionist regime to the ceremony, Mayor Shiro Suzuki has stood firm in his decision and emphasized that he will not withdraw from it.

Since the genocidal war it launched on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli regime has so far killed about 40,000 Palestinians and injured more than 91,500 others while displacing hundreds of thousands of them.
