Iran Press/Asia: The President of Iran arrived in Tajikistan last night for a two-day official visit, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation.
He was welcomed at the airport by Emomali Rahmon, the President of Tajikistan, and on Thursday morning, he received an official welcome at the Presidential Palace from Emomali Rahmon. Accompanied by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health of Tajikistan, he first visited an exhibition showcasing the achievements and medical equipment of the university on Thursday and then was awarded an honorary professorship and diploma in a ceremony.
Subsequently, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran delivered a speech to the university community. Pezeshkian also signed the university's guestbook.
