Iran Press/West Asia: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, along with his accompanying delegation, arrived in the southern Iraqi province of Basra on Friday on the third day of his state visit to Iraq aimed at closely inspecting Iranian-led development projects in the region.
The President emphasized: "We pray every day and we ask, guidance means unity and cohesion, it means holding on to God's rope. In the Quran, the straight path is mentioned, the straight path means unity, that is, we are one, and we are all together.

Iran's President said that Europeans were at war with each other for hundreds of years but now they are united in protecting their borders, adding: "Why shouldn't Muslims be able to board a train from Pakistan and Afghanistan and go to Najaf, Karbala, Mecca and Medina?
The President said: "Our businessmen, academics, scholars, artisans and Muslims should be able to have close relations with each other."
Addressing the Iraqis, the doctor said: "I sincerely thank you for your hospitality in Arbaeen Hosseini (AS).

Iran's Pezeshkian further stated that he is determined to follow up on the completion of the Shalamcheh Basra train route as soon as possible, adding: "This is the first step, I will consider any way that will help Iran and Iraq get closer to each other."
The president said a straight path means unity and unity of Muslims. The two neighbors should increase this unity, and pave the way to a flourishing economy, science, industry, agriculture, art and literature.
