Iran Press/Iran news: After playing the anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the participants showered rose petals on the martyrdom site of 290 passengers near the Strait of Hormuz and Hengam in the waters of Hormozgan province in southern Iran.
Participants chanted "Down with America" and "Down with Israel" as they showered the martyrdom site of Airbus passengers with flowers, condemning the US war crimes and crimes against humanity.
On July 3, 1988, a passenger plane of the Islamic Republic of Iran was hit by two missiles fired by the American ship "Vincennes" over the waters of the Persian Gulf, killing 290 people on board and crew, including 66 children and 53 women.
After the Iran Air Flight 655 crashed, US officials gave contradictory reasons to justify this unforgivable crime and tried to pretend that this hostile act was a mistake, but due to the fact that the Vincennes warship is equipped with the most advanced radar systems and the computer, as well as the specificity of the type of aircraft being flown, made it clear that there was no possibility of error, and that this action was completely hostile.
