Tehran (IP) - People from all walks of life across Iran and in the capital city of Tehran took to the streets for the commemoration of the '9th Dey' epic; mass rallies across Iran were held on 30 December 2009 to support the Islamic Republic of Iran Establishment to put end to months of foreign-sponsored unrest after the 2009 presidential elections in Iran.

Iran PressIran News: In Tehran, people from different walks of life took to the streets and gathered in Imam Hossein (AS) Square, commemorating the epic of Dey 9th on Thursday. (December 30).

'Dey 9 Epic', refers to the mass rallies held in support of the Islamic establishment after unrest in Iran in 2009.

13 years ago on this day, millions of Iranians in the capital Tehran and several other major cities took to the streets to condemn the foreign-plotted riots following the 2009 presidential election.

Besides Tehran, in many towns and cities and centers of provinces across Iran similar rallies are underway including in Rasht, Zanjan, and Shahre Kord.
