Tehran (IP) - Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in his weekly press conference on Monday, stressed that the Palestinian nation won't accept unjust solutions.

Iran PressIran news: "The Islamic Republic of Iran does not propose any ideas for Palestine, but expresses a democratic solution that has already been registered. But certain parties, especially the United States, want to achieve what they did not achieve through war with political solutions," Kanaani said.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that experience has shown that the Palestinian nation will not surrender to what is planned outside of Palestine and will not accept unjust solutions.

Netanyahu's claims won't affect Iran-Russia relations

Iran's foreign ministry's spokesman in reaction to Netanyahu's claims about Tehran-Moscow relations, said: We ignore the statements of certain parties in relations with friendly countries in the region, and these statements will not affect mutual ties.

Nasser Kanaani, in response to the question of Iran Press corespondent, said: Cooperation between Iran and Russia in various economic, commercial, and cultural fields has experienced tangible growth, and the volume of trade relations in 2022 has reached 5 billion dollars.

He added: The volume of trade between Iran and Russia has grown by 20 percent in the 9 months of this year, which indicates the good performance of the two countries.

Pointing out that there are many projects between the two countries, he added: In the recent visit of the president, the North-South Corridor, which is an important transit and commercial project of the two countries, was examined.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that cooperation between Iran and Russia continues in the fields of energy, banking, industries, and agriculture.

Kanaani said: 17th Joint Cooperation Commissions which will be held in the coming months, we will witness the improvement of relations as well.

JCPOA not dead 

The Spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that JCPOA is not dead and Iran will abide by it as long as its interests require it.

Nasser Kanaani about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) said: "Nothing new has happened in the process of negotiations, the process of diplomacy in connection with the JCPOA and negotiations to lift sanctions is still open as before, and in this context, the path of diplomacy still has its dynamics, but under the influence of the developments in the region, these dynamics can experience some ups and downs."

Iranian senior diplomat went on to state:" The JCPOA remains in force, no one except the US government has withdrawn from it, and even the US government has not officially announced that the JCPOA is dead, despite the fact that inside the US, different and sometimes contradictory positions and viewpoints are expressed, which shows the current situation. The internal duality of America is related to the domestic and international developments of this country."

Kanaani elsewhere noted: "Until now, we have abided by the JCPOA, and in fact, we were the most committed party to this agreement, and we will abide by it as long as Iran's interests require it, and we will follow the national interests in it, and the interests of the Iranian nation will be pursuit whether the will be the JCPOA or not. The country adheres to its international responsibilities and at the same time pursues national interests within its own frameworks in the form of foreign policy dynamics with regional parties."

Regarding the European expectations and their statements in the media regarding the JCPOA, he also said: "We will not tolerate exaggerations. We will not pay attention to the declaration and media positions of countries, especially Europeans. The agreement is clear and its provisions are clear. Therefore, when the issue is clear, such media statements will not help, and we will not pay attention to exaggerated statements."

Swedish spy's charges well documented

Kanaani said that there are sufficient documents about the Swedish spy in Iran and the Swedish Government has been informed about the details of it.

Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman was asked about the issue related to Josep Borrell EU foreign policy Chief he has demanded the release of a Swedish spy in Iran.

Kanaani explained whether Iran has any information about the correspondence between Sweden and the European Union or not saying: "I have no information about these correspondences, but the Swedish citizen's connections and crimes are clear, the relevant institutions have announced them."

Kanaani further stated: "These crimes have been announced and there are sufficient documents in this field, and the details have been announced to the Swedish government, and naturally it will go through its judicial process, and the judiciary will perform its duties as an independent authority."
