Palestine (IP) – The Spokesman of the Military Branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement said the Israeli regime's indifference to the release of the Zionist captives made them commit suicide.

Iran Press/West Asia: According to Al-Mayadeen, the Spokesman of Saraya al-Quds Abu Hamzah said on Wednesday that a number of the Israeli captives committed suicide as a result of extreme frustration due to the indifference of the Zionist regime's cabinet to their release. 

Pointing to the change in the behavior of the Saraya al-Quds in practicing protective measures for the Israeli captives and stated that the Israeli captives were deprived of the services provided to them earlier due to the heinous crime the Israeli regime committed in al-Nusairat Camp, in the wake of which hundreds of Palestinians were killed. 

The policy of continuous torture of Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli regime's jail is another cruel act of the regime was another factor, he added.

Abu Hamzah "We, in Saraya al-Quds, have decided to treat the enemy captives the same as the Palestinian prisoners are treated inside the Zionist prisons until the terrorist cabinet stops the cruel actions against the Palestinian nation and our prisoners."

Muhammad Abu Salmiya, the director of Al-Shifa Hospital and the one freed on Monday along with 50 other Palestinian prisoners in exchange, said that the Israeli regime does not provide medical services to prisoners in its jails, but attacks them in contrast to international conventions.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli regime has launched an all-out genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, killing nearly 37,000 people and wounding more than 87,000 people. 204
