Iran Press/ Middle East: The Palestinian Hamas Movement and the Islamic Jihad Movement vowed on Wednesday to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque in face of Zionist invaders whatever the cost is, calling on the Palestinians to confront storming the Holy Shrine.
The Palestinian movements called on Palestinians to gather in al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow to thwart a planned provocative Israeli plan to raise the Israeli flag and sing the Israeli anthem at the holy mosque.
They called on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at the mosque tomorrow morning to confront Israeli settlers who plan to storm the Muslim holy compound to raise the Israeli flag and sing the Israeli anthem to celebrate Israel’s Independence Day.
Settlers have been making calls to storm the al-Aqsa mosque on May 5th to raise the Israeli flag and sing the Israeli anthem inside its compound.
In the meantime, the Fatah faction in a statement called on Palestinians to mobilize and stay at al-Aqsa mosque tomorrow to confront the Israeli settlers’ planned storming of the mosque’s compound.
The faction affirmed that it will continue to confront the Israeli aggression against the city of Jerusalem al Quds, Jenin, and all the governorates by any mean possible as assured by international law against Zionist settler colonialism.
