Palestine (IP) - Khalil al-Hayya, Deputy Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, has stated that the Palestinian nation will not bow to Israel's brutal genocide in Gaza.

Iran Press/ West Asia: In an interview with Arab media, he condemned the actions of the apartheid Zionist regime and expressed disappointment over the muted responses from some Arab and Islamic countries.

A History of Unprecedented Crimes

Al-Hayya said the Israeli regime has been committing "brutal and unprecedented crimes in history" against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. He added that the Israeli regime is systematically attempting to displace Palestinians and obliterate life in Gaza, showing no regard for the existence of the Palestinian nation.

"The occupying regime is killing everyone," he said, "targeting hospitals, civil defense forces, women, children, and the elderly to empty Gaza of its inhabitants."

Humanitarian Crisis and Strategic Objectives

Al-Hayya said that Israel has divided northern Gaza from Gaza City as part of a broader strategy to forcibly displace Palestinians. He also criticized the destruction along Gaza's southern border with Egypt, adding that Israel seeks to expand the Netzarim corridor to secure its forces against resistance.

Describing the dire humanitarian situation, Al-Hayya said Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war, restricting basic necessities like medical supplies and vaccinations for children in northern Gaza. "Our nation is facing a clear and dangerous famine," he warned, holding Israel accountable for the crisis.

Call to Action

Despite the immense suffering, Al-Hayya declared that the Palestinian people remain steadfast. "The painful scenes of women and children being killed are heartbreaking, but the Palestinian people will not surrender their land and homes to the enemy."

He urged the international community and Arab and Islamic nations to act decisively. "We need practical and courageous actions to stop the crimes of the enemy and protect the rights of the Palestinian people," he said.
