Iran Press/West Asia: Fawad Othman said in an interview with Al-Aqsa satellite channel: Haniyeh's assassination proved that negotiations with the Zionist enemy since the signing of the Oslo Treaty were completely useless and that this treaty should be ended and security cooperation and relations with Zionist regime must completely be cut off.
He added: "The only possible solution is the national unity of Palestine and putting aside all differences to respect the blood of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh and all the martyrs."
Sami Abu Zuhri, one of the leaders of the Hamas movement, responded to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of this movement, and said in a statement: "We entered into an all-out war for the liberation of Al-Quds and we are ready to pay any price in this way."
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, was assassinated in Tehran on July 31, 2024.
