Iran Press/ Middle East: The spokesman of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, while stressing that the direction of this movement will never change with the martyrdom of Ayad al-Hasani, threatened the Israeli regime that Al-Quds headquarters will take surprising measures in response to the assassination of commander Al-Hasani.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad confirmed the martyrdom of Ayad al-Abd al-Hasani (Abu Anas), a member of the military council and the head of its operation unit, in tonight's criminal attack by the Israeli regime on a residential building in Gaza.
The Israeli regime announced that during a joint operation with the Shabak forces, Iyad al-Hasani, the head of the Islamic Jihad movement's operations, was assassinated in western Gaza.
Al-Hasani was the successor of Khalil al-Bahtini, the senior commander of Plaestinian Islamic Jihad's Quds forces, who was martyred last Tuesday in an attack by Israeli fighters along with two other commanders of these forces.
Since last Tuesday, the Israeli regime's fighter jets have carried out attacks on Gaza, as a result of which 33 Palestinians, including 6 commanders of the Quds Battalions of the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, were martyred.
In response to these attacks, Palestinian resistance groups also targeted Tel Aviv and other Zionist cities in the occupied territories with rockets, during which a large number of Zionists were injured and a lot of damage was inflicted upon these areas. 219
