Islamabad (IP) - A review meeting regarding the aid sent by Pakistan to Palestine and Lebanon was held in Islamabad on Friday under the chairmanship of Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

Iran PressAsia: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in the meeting that along with the government measures, the people are also requested to help their Palestinian brothers and sisters. He said the government of Pakistan has established a relief fund to help the Palestinian and Lebanese victims of the Israeli regime's oppression.

The Prime Minister stressed: "Pakistan will send more tents and blankets for the winter to the Muslim brothers and sisters who are victims of Israeli aggression in Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon. Pakistan is also sending food items and medicines to Muslim brothers and sisters who are victims of Israeli oppression."

Criticizing the atrocities of the Israeli regime, the PM said: "Israel's obstruction of aid to the Palestinians is alarming and reprehensible; increasing Israeli aggression is engulfing the entire region. World powers should immediately stop Israel from genocide of innocent people."

Shehbaz Sharif pointed out that history is a witness to give testimony that the major cause of world wars in the 20th century was silence on such conflicts on the part of world powers.

Just as a part of its crimes, the Israeli regime waged an all-out war on Gaza and Lebanon which has so far led to the massacre of more than 44,000 people, separate from the injured and displaced and those who have disappeared.
