Iran Press/ Asia: People in Islamabad, Pakistan's capital, staged a protest rally on the call of the "Save Gaza Campaign" to condemn the Israeli regime's assassination of Hezbollah's Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was assassinated by the Israeli regime during the bombardment of the southern part of Beirut on Friday, September 27, 2024.
A mass of people from different walks of life took in the streets of Pakistan on Sunday evening while holding the pictures of Leder of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khomeini and Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and the Palestinian flags.
Addressing the protesters, the leader of the Save Gaza Campaign Humaira Tayyaba, and others said that the Israeli regime's war and humanitarian crimes have exceeded the limits by killing more than 41,000 innocent Palestinians in Gaza.
The regime assassinated Ismail Haniya the Leader of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, and now it crossed all limits by assassinating Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, but assassinations and genocides just consolidate the ongoing movement for the freedom of Palestine, she said.
Still, talking to Iran Press, the former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, said: "Nasrallah offered a great sacrifice for Al-Quds and Palestine against the illegitimate Zionist state of Israel. He is the role model for the youth of Muslim Ummah, and after his martyrdom the resistance will continue until the elimination of Israel and freedom of Al Quds."
"Israel is a terrorist estate and commits genocide and crimes against humanity, and the Muslim Ummah's rulers are the facilitators and the United States and European Union are the financers of this genocide," he noted.
On the occasion, the demonstrators shouted slogans against the United States and Israel and demanded that international organizations punish Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as a war criminal and stop the Israeli aggression.
