Islamabad (IP)- Pakistani students are voicing strong opposition to Israeli atrocities in Palestine, demanding immediate international intervention to stop the ongoing violence.

Iran PressAsia: At the same time, they have expressed deep concern over the arrests of youth, particularly students, in Western countries, including the United States.

In interviews with Iran Press, students shared their perspectives on the situation. Rabia emphasized that the cause transcends religious or national boundaries, with people worldwide protesting to defend Palestinian homes. She noted that demonstrations have been taking place globally, not just in Muslim countries, citing examples from Germany and Colombia. Rabia stressed that as Muslims, it is their religious duty to support their "brothers and sisters" in Palestine, who have faced atrocities for the past 200 days.

Maria Abbasi underscored the importance of peaceful protests in awakening nations to stand with oppressed Palestinians. She criticized the international community's inaction in the face of the ongoing genocide and atrocities in Gaza over the past six to seven months. Abbasi highlighted the impact of student protests, citing the case of South Africa filing a genocide case with the International Court of Justice and the delivery of aid to Gaza due to Pakistani student demonstrations. She encouraged people to raise their voices, emphasizing that every voice matters.

Ramsa Jahangir, a student from the National University, discussed the ongoing efforts to boycott products that support Israel. She stressed the need to show solidarity with Palestinian brothers and sisters, noting that student pressure has led to the boycott of companies like McDonald's and Starbucks. Jahangir believes that economic pressure can translate into political action.

Another student, Rabnain Zakir, emphasized the importance of raising awareness to open the world's eyes to the injustice in Gaza and Palestine. She called for boycotting products, particularly KFC and McDonald's, to stand with Palestine and show solidarity.

Ahsan Iqbal, the team leader of the students' movement for Palestine, expressed gratitude for the students' courage and commitment to condemning the genocide. He criticized the "brutal face and dual standards" of American and Western institutions, accusing them of suppressing student voices and violating freedom of expression while claiming to champion human rights. 219
