Peshawar (IP) - Pakistani Security Forces carried out two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on Thursday, resulting in the elimination of eight terrorists.

Iran Press/Asia: In an intelligence-based operation in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan District, Pakistani troops engaged insurgent positions, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists, including Kharji ring leader Khan Muhammad Khoryay, and the capture of two others. Khan Muhammad Khoryay, involved in numerous terrorist activities such as target killing and extortion, was highly wanted by law enforcement, with a bounty of PKR 1 million on his head.

In another intelligence-based operation in the Lakki Marwat District, security forces successfully neutralized six Khwarij after an intense exchange of fire.

Clearance operations are underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.
