Tehran(IP): The Pakistani ambassador to Tehran praised the Islamic Republic of Iran's swift response to help extinguish the wildfire in the heights of Balochistan province.

Iran PressIran News: Widespread fires in forests, pastures, and agricultural lands in some areas of Pakistan Balochistan province bordering Iran continue and led to the declaration of a state of emergency and full readiness of emergency response agencies, including military units in Balochistan, Pakistan.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has sent an Ilyushin Il-76P water bomber aircraft to Pakistan in a humanitarian operation to help Pakistan's friendly and neighboring country to help put out fires in the forests and pastures of Balochistan province.

Due to the lack of facilities in Pakistan for firefighting, especially in forested areas and highlands, the government asked the Islamic Republic of Iran to help overcome the fire.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in humanitarian action to help Pakistan to overcome extinguish fires in the forests and pastures of Baluchistan, sent an Ilyushin Il-76P water bomber aircraft to Pakistan last night.

According to the Iran Press on Tuesday, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Pakistan's ambassador to Iran, wrote on his official Twitter account today that the Iranian firefighting plane landed at Rawalpindi airbase in Pakistan on Monday evening and was scheduled to fly to The Sulaiman Mountains and "Sherani" to start a firefighting operation in Balochistan province.
