Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned recent Israeli military attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, labeling them a “clear violation of international law” and urging the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to take immediate action to halt Israel's "criminal conduct."

Iran Press/Asia: In a statement released Saturday, the Foreign Office expressed Pakistan’s deep concerns over the early morning strikes on Iranian military sites. Pakistan denounced Israel’s actions as a "violation of Iranian sovereignty and territorial integrity" and a direct breach of the United Nations Charter and international law.

“These Israeli attacks undermine regional peace and stability and exacerbate an already dangerous situation in the region,” the statement read. Islamabad also held Israel “fully responsible” for the escalating tensions, urging the UNSC to fulfill its mandate by safeguarding international peace and security. Pakistan called on the UNSC to take immediate measures to end Israel’s aggressive actions and ensure accountability for its violations.

The Foreign Office further appealed to the international community to play its role in restoring peace and regional security.

Meanwhile, Iran's Air Defense Command issued a statement early Saturday, confirming that Iran's integrated air defense system successfully intercepted and countered the Israeli attacks on military installations in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces. According to the statement, despite prior warnings from Iranian officials to Israel against any provocative actions, the strikes resulted in limited damage, and an investigation into the extent of the impact is ongoing.

In response, Iran's First Vice President, Mohammad-Reza Aref, shared a post on the social media platform X, featuring Iran’s tricolor flag, and declared, “Iran’s strength humbles and defeats our enemies.”
