Pakistan on Monday marked Youm-e-Takbeer, the 20 the anniversary of its first nuclear test.

 Pakistan on Monday celebrated Youm-e-Takbeer, the 20 the anniversary of its first nuclear test and it has taken significant measures to ensure comprehensive nuclear security, which have been acknowledged.

A rally was organised by the ruling Muslim League – Nawaz party in Chagai along the mountain where an atomic test took place on May 28 in 1998 near Dalbandin where a large number of people holding national flags chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan Army and the country.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the observance of Youm e Takbeer provided an opportunity to the nation to reiterate its' resolve for the defence and solidarity of Pakistan.

Prime minister recounted this test was done following his visits to different parts of the country to inaugurate multiple development projects.
