Pakistan (IP)- Terrorists attacked the check post of security forces in North Waziristan, where seven officers were martyred and six terrorists were killed.

Iran Press/Asia: In North Waziristan's Mir Ali area, terrorists attacked a security forces post; after the initial infiltration attempt failed, a vehicle full of explosives hit the post.

According to Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a group of six terrorists attacked a post of security forces in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. The initial infiltration attempt was foiled by the officials, after which the terrorists rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into the post, which was followed by several suicide bombings, and resulted in the collapse of a part of the building.  As a result of this, five soldiers were martyred. 

Then, a clearance operation was conducted under the leadership of Lt. Col. Kashif, during which all six terrorists were killed; Colonel Kashif himself was martyred. A 23-year-old Captain also was martyred while fighting bravely.

A clearance operation was also conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area. 204
