Quetta (IP) - Seven security personnel were killed and more than fifteen injured in an attack by terrorists in the Kalat district of Balochistan province of Pakistan on Saturday.

Iran Press/Asia: Armed men attacked the Shah Mardan checkpost in Kalat, as a result of which seven Frontier Constabulary personnel were killed and 15 injured as a result of the use of heavy ammunition. The bodies of the dead and the injured personnel were shifted to Quetta, the headquarters of Balochistan province. 

According to the sources, the banned organization Balochistan Liberation Front has accepted the responsibility for this attack.
 
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack by terrorists in Kalat district and said that such elements spreading chaos and unrest in Balochistan are enemies of the people of Balochistan and its development but they can not shake the determination.

The Prime Minister further said, "The evil ambitions of the enemies of Pakistan will remain in the dust and we will continue to fight against the monster of terrorism until its complete elimination from the country". 204
