Saudi Arabia (IP) - The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) issued a statement about the Israeli plots to change the historical and geographical status of Al-Quds.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi called for an urgent meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to make a joint decision to take measures against the brutalities of the Israeli regime.

The statement issued by the executive committee of the OIC said that the Israeli authorities' decisions to tarnish the legal status of the holy places of Palestine have no legal enforcement and are considered void based on international laws and UN resolutions.

The Head of the OIC stated that the Israeli regime's brutalities and attacks against holy places, both Islamic and Christian, were the sheer desecration of the places and violation of the freedom of worship and the Geneva Convention.

Hossein Taha warned against such distortion and pointed out that the Israeli regime is fully held responsible for the consequences of the brutalities that can lead to escalating tension and destabilizing the region's security.

Early morning on Wednesday, the Israeli troops stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque and tried to expel the Palestinian worshipers and injured a number of them.
