Iran Press/ Europe: Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji referred to Iran's first position in terms of oil and gas reserves on Thursday.
The minister stressed the rich reserves of Iran and other countries in the region, highlighting Iran's strategic position where it plays a key role to both Asia and Europe as the only integrated route between the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf.
On the strategic position of Iran, he added that the role of Iran is undeniable in terms of energy.
"Iran can turn to the main hub and center of gas in the region," stated the minister.
Regarding the oil and gas exporters and importers around Iran, he noted that the situation has facilitated the 'energy center' role of Iran.
The minister went on to say that Iran can be the main energy trading player in the world and become the main gas hub by enjoying the advantage of its natural resources and northern neighbors.
He added at the end that Iran exports gas to Türkiye and Iraq with Pakistan, India, and Oman as potential customers of Iranian gas. 219
