Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that by 2041, the daily production would increase to 6,500,000 barrels of oil.

Iran Press/Iran newsIranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said: "Documents such as the petrochemical industry development, the country's transportation fuel, the optimal use of existing refineries, and the document of oil production and refining by 2041 have been prepared."

Iran's Oil Minister expressed hope: "According to this plan, the country will reach a daily production capacity of 6 million and 500 thousand barrels by 2041."

Zanganeh also pointed out that the Iranian oil industry has a favorable budget to help start-up businesses, saying: "Development in the oil industry must be sustainable and continuous."
