Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said on Thursday that Iran's gas supply coverage had reached 95.1%; calling the figure unique in the world.
Speaking in the inauguration of the national projects of the Ministry of Oil, Zanganeh added: "The Ministry of Oil of Iran since 8 years ago (2013) has succeeded in increasing the number of villages benefiting from natural gas from 14,000 to about 35,000 villages, ie 2.5 times."
In six provinces of Iran, gas supply projects were inaugurated by order of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani via videoconferencing on Thursday.
