Iran Press/Iran news: Head of Public Relations and Information Centre of the Ministry of Health, Kianoush Jahanpour said on Saturday: "In the past 24 hours, from 29 to 30 May, a total of 2282 new patients with COVID-19 have been diagnosed in the country, and the number of patients with this disease has now reached 148,950."
Dr. Jahanpour added: "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 57 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, so, in total, 7,734 individuals have lost their lives because of this disease in this country."
He stated: "2,533 patients are currently in a critical condition."
Stressing that Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran is still in red, Jahanpour reiterated that the provinces of East and West Azerbaijan, Lorestan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Isfahan, and Hormozgan are all in a state of alert.
