Iran Press/America: On Tuesday, the US Treasury imposed new sanctions under the pretext of facilitating the purchase of missile and drone parts for Tehran.
The US Department of Treasury's website announced in this regard: Today, the US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) targeted 5 persons and 7 entities based in Iran, the People's Republic of China (PRC), and Hong Kong.
In the statement issued by the US Treasury Department, it is claimed that the individuals and legal entities played a role in "facilitating the provision of items needed by the subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense and Support of the Iranian Armed Forces (MODAFL)".
Washington's statement claims that they (individuals and legal entities under today's sanctions) provide various components, including accelerometers and gyroscopes, which serve as key requirements for Iran's ballistic missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programs. 204
