The media announced on Monday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the two-day ceasefire plan proposed by Egypt for the Gaza war.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Egypt has proposed a two-day cease-fire between Israel and Hamas during which four hostages held in Gaza would be freed.

According to this plan, some Palestinian prisoners were supposed to be released in exchange for the release of 4 Israeli prisoners, and after the ceasefire, negotiations were to continue for 10 days until a complete ceasefire was established.
According to the Egyptian newspaper "Egypt Independent", Israel's Channel 12 reported that this plan was brought up in the cabinet meeting and some cabinet members supported it, but the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, as well as Itmar Benguir and Bezalel Smotrich, two hardline ministers of Israel, rejected it.
The international community has been trying to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for a long time, but the various plans presented by Egypt, Qatar, and even the United States have been rejected by the Israeli regime and the Israeli army continues its crimes in the Gaza Strip.
