Tehran (IP) - The Commander of Iran's Navy said the army naval force has concentrated its efforts on the creation of a maritime convergence at the international level.

Iran PressIran news: Interviewing with Iran Press correspondent on Saturday, Real Admiral Sharam Irani elaborated on the international dimensions of the Iranian Navy programs. 

Admiral Irani told Iran Press on the sidelines of the ceremony to commemorate Iran's Navy Day: "The main part of the convergence is defined in training and education, conducting bilateral and multilateral exercises both in combined and joint forms, visits, and the exchange of the military delegations."

"We have a maritime security center, which I think is the only center in the world that provides a seat and a flag for each of the friendly and neighboring countries," he explained more. 

The Commander of Iranian Navy stressed the importance of relations between the security centers as a top priority of the Navy, which he believed should be extended to other oceans from the Indian Ocean.
