IP - Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah on Sunday in a TV address said that Hezbollah delayed his military response to the Israeli regime because of Gaza ceasefire talks and warned that Hezbollah's response would continue.

Iran Press/West Asia: Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah in a TV speech on the occasion of the Arbaeen and Hezbollah military operation against the Israeli regime said that the Israeli regime crossed all redlines in aggression against Lebanon but Hezbollah delayed our response because of Gaza ceasefire talks.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah began delivered the speech on Sunday at 15:00 (GTM).

He started his speech by marking Arbaeen and said: " Today is the fortieth anniversary of Imam Hussein (PBUH) on the 20th of Safar, who is a symbol of sacrifice, altruism, rejection of injustice and submission, and the title of the revolution until the Day of Judgment."

We Delayed Our Operation for Gaza Talks

Nasrallah on Hezbollah's military operation said that the Israeli regime crossed all redlines in aggression against Lebanon, he emphasized that Hezbollah never targeted any civilian site and all targets are military.

Hezbollah's Secretary General said: We delayed our response to allow sufficient time for the ongoing negotiations concerning Gaza.

Nasrallah rejects Israeli military claims

Sayyed Nasrallah said: "We wanted the target to be related to the recent assassinations and so the target was the Glilot base, which was the base from which the assassinations were being carried out, and which is also taking part in psychological warfare against our people."

He dealt with the operation itself and said that the reason behind the delay of the retaliation and explained that the economic losses the Zionist regime was continuing to face during the anticipation of the response was a point for postponing the response, among other reasons.

"We put a set of standards for the target of our response: It was not to be a civilian target, although the enemy targeted civilians and it is our right to target civilians if we wanted, nor infrastructure. It was to be a military target."

Sayyed Nasrallah also touched on the points targeted in the operation: "In addition to the Glilot base, several barracks, and military sites were also targeted, whether in northern occupied Palestine or the occupied Syrian Golan, to exhaust the Iron Domes, which would allow the drones to cross into the depths."

As for the weapons used, it was decided that all the sites in northern occupied Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan Heights would be targeted with Katyusha rockets first to exhaust the Iron Dome, so 300 Katyusha rockets were supposed to be launched, and it was ended up firing 340 rockets in total, he added.

"The final number was 340 rockets, and all drone launch sites released their drones without any damage, the drones successfully hit all targets after crossing the Lebanese-Palestinian border safely," Nasrallah said.

He further said: The second weapon that was used was drones of different sizes launched from the Beqaa, meaning they would travel a significant distance inside Lebanon before part of them continued to the Glilot base. All drones passed the borders successfully.

He said: "Our data suggests that a substantial number of drones successfully reached the two specified targets; however, as usual, the enemy is keeping this information confidential".

Hezbollah's Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah about Israeli regime claims of preemptive attacks on Hezbollah sites said: "No resistance platforms were hit before the operation began. The resistance successfully launched 340 missiles, and all drone sites deployed their drones despite the raids. Remarkably, no site was damaged, either before or after the operation."

"Israel falsely claimed to have destroyed our strategic missiles, despite knowing that we have not used them yet and may do so in the future," he stressed.

Israeli Intelligence Information Claims Are False

" The enemy’s claim that it targeted ballistic missiles prepared to strike Tel Aviv is false," Sayyed Nasrallah said adding that "the drone sites were not hit, and the missile launch pads fired their missiles without being damaged in the pre-raids".

Sayyed Nasrallah said: "The enemy is claiming hundreds of raids, but in reality, they only hit two missile launch pads."

"The enemy initiated the raids half an hour before the resistance operation, sensing the movement of the Mujahideen rather than acting based on intelligence information," Hezbollah's Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said.

Sayyed Nasrallah said, "This is the first major operation the resistance has undertaken without a great leader like Sayyed Fuad, yet we believe that the spirits of our martyred leaders are with us, supporting and guiding us."

He added: "We disrupted the Israeli entity with Katyusha rockets; imagine the impact if we had launched even other rockets."

"We are confronted with an Israeli narrative filled with falsehoods and intelligence failures; in contrast, our military operation was executed exactly as planned, despite all the challenging circumstances, Sayyed Nasrallah said.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said: "We will assess the outcome of the Israeli concealment of today’s events; if the result is satisfactory, we will consider the response process complete, if it falls short, we will reserve the right to respond at a later time."

Sayyed Nasrallah: "At this stage, Lebanon can rest assured, as the enemy has announced that today’s events are concluded."
