Tajikistan (IP) - The mourning ceremony for Tasua was held at the Embassy of Iran in Tajikistan with Iranians living there.

Iran PressAsia: Iranian ambassador, diplomats, hundreds of Iranians, and the lovers of Imam Hussain (A.S.), mourned the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (A.S.), Hazrat Abaolfazl al-Abbas (A.S.), and their companions. 

Mohammad Taghi Sabri, Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan, explained some of the personality traits of Hazrat AbolFazl al-Abbas (AS) and said that he was at the peak of spiritual and moral virtues and perfections not only during the Ashura but throughout his blessed life.

Today is Thursday, the ninth day of the month of Muharram 1445 AH (July 27, 2023), also known as Tasua.

Imam Hussain (AS) and his loyal companions were martyred in the battle of Karbala on the 10th of Muharram month, 61 AH.

During the battle of Karbala, Imam Hussain (A.S.) clearly stated: "The intention is to disgrace the anti-Islamic government and establish the command of what is good and forbid what is bad and encounter oppression and tyranny." 

Iranians mourn the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (A.S.), the third Shi'a Imam, and his loyal companions who were martyred on the days of Tasua and Ashura, which fall on the ninth and tenth of Muharram. This is done through commemorative ceremonies, including those held for Hazrat AbolFazl al-Abbas (A.S.), the brother of Imam Hussain (A.S.).
