Iran Press/ Iran news: "The National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus has been approved by the Supreme National Security Council and its authorities are special, and the government is determined to protect people's health and has closed important public centers from the beginning," said Eshaq Jahangiri Iran's Vice President at the Pasteur Research Institute on Monday.
The first vice president said, "No one imagined that in a country with Muslim and religious people, the major places of pilgrimage and holy shrines, which were the main bases of the people, would be closed for public health."
Hoping that by doing so Iran could defeat the Coronavirus outbreak chain, Jahangir stressed: "Whenever it is necessary to make a difficult decision to protect people's health, we make decisions that will certainly upset and pressure some, but they must obey which is important to the people's health."
