A spokesman for Qatar's foreign ministry said the besieging countries of Doha are responsible for the continuing crisis and disputes.

Iran Press/Middle East: Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Lolwah Al-Khater said on Friday on the anniversary of the Doha crisis with the countries of Persian Gulf states with the leadership of Saudi Arabia.

Qatar has overcome the consequences of the crisis at various levels, and what remains a concern for Qatar is the loss of social trust in the Persian Gulf states and the consequences of the crisis on the region's collective security.

The spokeswoman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the besieging countries of Qatar were trying to normalize the crisis and that they had been trying to normalize it since the beginning of the crisis.

Al-Khater while denying Qatar's decision to withdraw from the PGCC, said that activating the role of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) was a necessity for the Persian Gulf and the region as a whole and that this action needed to be reconsidered by the challenges facing the PGCC.

Qatar's foreign ministry spokeswoman also said that Doha supports Kuwait's efforts to reduce tensions with the Persian Gulf states in the context of mutual respect and international legitimacy and that resolving the crisis with Saudi Arabia depends on maintaining mutual respect and sovereignty.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain severed diplomatic ties with Qatar in June 2017 due to what they claimed Doha's incompatibility with the Arab 's world developments led by Riyadh, and in addition to imposing sanctions, closed their land, sea and air borders.
