Hashd Ah-Sha’abi participation in combating Corona in Iraq

Iraq's Hashd Al-Shaabi, or Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) has announced that the organization uses its all efforts to contribute to the operation of combating the Coronavirus in the country.

Iran PressMiddle EastAs the number of Coronavirus cases grows rapidly in Iraq, last Tuesday, the Hashd Al-Shaabi announced the construction of a field hospital in Karbala province, the center of the country, aimed at countering the outbreak of the virus.

In Iraq, by registering new cases of Corona virus, the whole number of COVID-19 patients has reached to 382 people, from which 36 people have died.

According to the latest statistics, so far, 556,291 people have been infected with the Coronavirus, of these, 128,000 have recovered, and 25,239 others have died.

Countries around the globe have been turning in increasing numbers to their militaries to help during a pandemic that has placed more than a third of the world’s population under various forms of lock down. 207
