Hezbollah has stated that it will back the Lebanon government and need nothing in return.

Iran Press/Middle East: Hezbollah Senior official Sheikh Mohammed Amro regarding the new Lebanese government said: "It is imperative that all Lebanon unite to form a cabinet sooner. Hezbollah has not named anyone for the appointment as a minister by new prime minister Hassan Diab, we consider Diab as a pure man and we are optimistic that the next government will save Lebanon from the crisis."

During a meeting with Lebanon's President Michel Aoun, the head of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Osman, reported that 235 security personnel were injured during the recent unrest.

At the same time, some security sources have reported that tear gas and grenade launchers have been equipped with external infiltrators.

The Russian ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Zasbekin, said the United States was shaking Lebanon's economy with pressure on the country's banking system, but US efforts would be futile.

The election of Hassan Diab was a step forward in getting out of the Lebanese crisis, and a faster cabinet formation is the solution to the country's economic problems. 101/219
