Saudi mercenaries artillery bombardment on Hudaida after the cease fire

Saudi–led aggressors in an act which violated a UN-brokered truce attacked Hudaida early Thursday.

Iran Press/ Middle East:The mercenaries of US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition fired over ten artillery shells at various areas in Hudaida province including al-Durayhimi region on early Thursday, Iran Press reported citing al-Masirah network.

The US-Saudi invaders and mercenaries continued their violations of the cease-fire in Hodeidah, killing and injuring number of citizens, mostly women and children, as well as severe destroying homes and citizen's property.

It happened while the forces of Yemen's Houthi Ansarullah Movement have started a unilateral withdrawal from Saleef and Ras Isa ports in Hudaida province from Saturday morning, under a United Nations-sponsored peace deal.

The warring parties in Yemen reached the ceasefire agreement on the Red Sea Ansarullah-held port of Hodeidah on December 13.

Violations of the US-Saudi aggression are part of the invaders and mercenaries' efforts to foil the Stockholm Agreement, covered by an international silence, especially after the Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees have implemented the first phase of the agreement.

On Tuesday, Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement has called for the full withdrawal of the Saudi-led military coalition from the conflict-ridden Arab country, after the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a key part of that alliance, said it was going ahead with plans to reduce the number of troops in Yemen.

Some 16,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudi-led aggression.

The Saudi-led war has also taken a heavy toll on the country’s infrastructure, destroying hospitals, schools, and factories. The UN has already said that a record 22.2 million Yemenis are in dire need of food, including 8.4 million threatened by severe hunger. According to the world body, Yemen is suffering from the most severe famine in more than 100 years.

The assaults of the Saudi-led coalition forces have failed to stop the Yemenis from resisting the aggression.203/209
