Tehran (IP) – Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman expressed worrisome about the displaced people in Afghanistan and called the situation improper.

Iran PressIran News: Attending his weekly press conference on Monday, Saeed Khatibzadeh responded to Iran Press about displaced and immigrants Afghans.

He reiterated that Iran's Foreign Ministry and all organizations in charge stand beside Afghans all the time, especially at challenging times.

"Various humanitarian aids were sent to different cities in Afghanistan especially in cold season and while there is not enough fuel," he noted.

Khatibzadeh added that the displaced people in Afghanistan are in an improper situation.

He highlighted that Iran had welcomed more than four million Afghans for more than four decades, pointing out that this situation cannot be continued, especially while international organizations do not shoulder their responsibilities.
