Mashhad (IP) - The second night of mourning ceremony on Laylat al-Qadr was held on Thursday night in Holy Mashhad near Imam Reza's Holy Shrine in Khorasan Razavi, North-Eastern Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: The event was held to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (PBUH) the first Shi'a Imam.

This year, due to COVID-19 outbreak, some 25 places have been considered as the proper places for performing on Laylat al-Qadr rituals where the morning ceremony is being held through observing the health protocols as well as social distancing.

The Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH) the 8th Shi'a Imam has been closed for the last two months due to COVID-19 outbreak. 101
