Iran Press/America: Hundreds of people demonstrated outside the residence of George Washington University’s president Friday.
Several hundred demonstrators gathered in Washington to protest against the University President, Ellen Granberg.
The protest started at the main campus of George Washington and then moved to F Street NW near 20th Street NW. The protestors were composed of students and teachers from different backgrounds and religions. They were demanding that President Granberg stop collaborating with Israeli authorities.
The protest lasted for nearly two weeks, and the demonstrators had set up an encampment at University Yard. However, the University President refused to negotiate with them, which led to the protest.
During the demonstration, the police in Washington DC mobilized, and the crowd chanted “Let him go!” as the authorities took some of the protestors into custody. The long protest had exhausted the police, making them nervous. 204
