IP - The Institute for Social Policy and Understanding found that most Muslim, Catholic, and Protestant Americans, including white Evangelical and non-affiliated Americans, support a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

Iran Press/America: Jewish Americans are more likely to support (50 percent) than oppose (34 percent) a cessation in violence.

The survey also revealed that Jewish and Muslim Democrats, along with young Americans, favor an end to the war on Gaza.

Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7.  killing at least 28,176 and wounding 67,784 others. 

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, is under very strong domestic pressure from members of the right-wing part of the government. 

In recent days, Europeans have also criticized America's support policies for Israel.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has suggested the US rethink its military aid to Israel due to the high number of civilian casualties in the war on Gaza.
