Iran Press/ Iran news: In this phone cnveration, Emmanuel Macron welcomed Pezeshkian's approach of creating interaction and balance in foreign policy and expressed hope that Iran's relations with France and other European countries improve more than in the past.
Pezeshkian in this call said that the background of political relations and cultural relations between Iran and France is a suitable ground for the development of diplomatic interactions between the two countries. He also sais Iran is ready to improve its relations with France based on honesty and mutual trust.
Sanction lifting negotiations, war in Ukraine and the latest situation and developments in Gaza and Lebanon were among the other issues that were discussed in this one-hour phone call.
While announcing Iran's readiness to continue negotiations on the lifting of sanctions within the agreed framework, Pezeshkian considered the implementation of all the parties' commitments, and the cessation of cruel pressure and sanctions against the Iranian nation as the minimum expectation of the Islamic Republic of Iran from this agreement and a suitable basis for the continuation and advancement of the talks.
Iran's President reiterated: "Based on more than 15 reports of the Atomic Energy Agency, Iran has fulfilled all its commitments in the JCPOA, but the US unilaterally withdrew from this agreement, and also imposed additional cruel sanctions on the Iranian nation.
While expressed his deep concern over the escalation of tensions in southern Lebanon, Iran's new President warned of the consequences of any aggression against it, saying that Israel will make a big mistake if it carries out any aggression against Lebanon and will face serious repercussions.
