In this way, in addition to the ban on providing technical assistance and financial services, the export, supply, and delivery of such technologies to Iran is also subject to sanctions.
The purpose of this action is to disrupt the production and supply of drones and missiles, as well as to exert more pressure on Iran's defense industry.
The new sanctions are in line with similar measures taken by London's international partners, according to the UK's Trade Department.
London's excuse for imposing such sanctions is the West's baseless claim that Iran interfered in the Ukraine war by sending ballistic missiles to Russia; An accusation that has been repeatedly denied by the authorities of Iran and Russia.204
