Iran Press/ West Asia: Farah Omar, a reporter working for local TV channel Al-Mayadeen, and Rabih Al-Maamari, a photographer working for the same channel, were covering the events in southern Lebanon when two Israeli drones hit them, killing both of them and a civilian named Hussein Akil, Lebanese TV channel Al-Manar reported.
Lebanon's Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib said on Tuesday, in response to the testimony of two Al-Mayadeen journalists, that the country will soon submit a complaint to the UN Security Council and demand condemnation of the targeting of journalists.
The Foreign Minister of Lebanon emphasized that the Zionist regime is deliberately targeting journalists.
