Lebanese scholar urges countering conspiracies to occupy Palestine

Beirut (IP) - The chairman of the International Union of Lebanese Resistance Scholars called for the Muslim countries' unity countering conspiracies aimed at occupying Palestine.

Iran Press/Middle East: In a meeting with Secretary-General of Palestine's Islamic Jihad Movement Ziyad al-Nakhaleh in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, Sheikh Maher Hamoud said that the Muslim and Arab countries must stand united against anti-Palestinian conspiracies, especially the US-Israeli 'Deal of the Century' plot.

Sheikh Maher Hamoud also condoled Ramadan Abdullah Shallah's death, the former Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, to the members of the movement and the Palestinian people.

Ramazan Abdullah Shallah, who served as Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement from 1995 to 2018, died on Saturday evening (May 6th) at the age of 62 due to illness.

Under the US-cooked 'Deal of the Century' plot, the Israeli regime plans to annex 30 percent of the West Bank to the occupied territories in early July with the support of the Trump administration.
