Iran Press/ Iran News: Hojatoleslam Mohammadi Golpayegani, Head of the Office of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, read the text of Ayatollah Khamenei's decree on endorsing people's vote and appointing Masoud Pezeshkian as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"Under the will of the Iranian nation, I endorsed their vote for Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and appointed him as the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
"All praise is due to God, for once again He has brought honor to Islamic Iran. With the efforts of the people and the officials, the fateful test of the presidential election was carried out and the individual chosen by the nation is now ready to undertake a great responsibility."
"Following the unfinished term of Martyr Raisi, the 14th presidential election reflects the rational, composed nature of the political atmosphere in the country. Seeing certain undesirable events in some similar tests in various regions around the world highlights the distinction of the Iranians."
"In accordance with the will of our great nation, I endorse their vote for the wise, honest, people-oriented, learned Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, and I hereby appoint him as the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
"With sincere prayers and wishes for his success, I would like to remind you that the nation’s vote and my endorsement will remain intact as long as his consistent approach in following the straight path of Islam and the Revolution continues."
Ayatollah Khamenei then presented the plaque of his decree to President Pezeshkian.
In the ceremony held in Imam Khomeini Hussainia, senior Iranian officials, senior commanders of the Iranian armed forces, university presidents and professors, and ambassadors of foreign countries in Tehran will be held in Tehran.
As the first speaker, Iranian Interior Minister, Ahmad Vahidi presented a report on the process of the Presidential elections and the action of Martyr President Raisi.
Pezeshkian from Election to Presidency
According to Article 110 of the Iranian Constitution, the formal signing of the decree that officially elects the President of the Republic by the people is within the authority of the Leader.
Pezeshkian, 69, was elected as the ninth president of Iran after the votes of the July 5 presidential runoff counted.
Masoud Pezeshkian, a heart surgeon, won 16,384,403 votes while Jalili stood behind him with 13,538,179 ballots.
The 9th presidential endorsement ceremony is held at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh on Sunday morning attended by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and senior Iranian civil and military officials.
