The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the conflict between the front of Yazid I and Imam Hussain's (a) front is endless and consistent.

Iran Press/Iran News: Receiving a group of students on the occasion of Arbaeen 2024 on Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the battle of Karbala and Imam Hussain's (a) Ashura epic and noted that the Ashura campaign between the front of Yazid I and Imam Hussain's (a) front is interminable and constant but the way the campaign is manifested varies era to era based on current circumstances.

"The ways of the Husseini front's confrontation with tyranny are different according to the circumstances, this confrontation takes place in the era of sword and spear in one way and in the era of atom and artificial intelligence, another way; in the era of promotion through poems, odes and hadiths, it had its own in one way, and in the era of Internet and quantum, other methods should be used."

The Islamic Revolution has fostered a vast arena before the youth and they should utilize the opportunity to elevate the Revolution's sublime goals through planning, proper recognition, and due action, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said.

Ayatollah Khamenei said: "The youth should appreciate the present era, which has opened a wide field in front of them thanks to the Islamic Revolution, and take timely action by planning, studying, and thinking correctly, which requires familiarity with the Qur'an and reflection on it."

Yet, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the duty varies in the context of university and students, and pointed out that the fight against oppression is not always defined in the form of picking up weapons, but through proper thought, speech, and recognition in order to identify the duty and fulfill the goal.

Due action is realized sometimes in universities, sometimes in the social or political atmosphere, and sometimes on the way to Karbala and Palestine and the sublime goals, he said.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution noted that if the youth properly used the opportunity, they would reach redemption and if they ignored it, they would suffer nothing by detriment.

The Arbaeen, or the 40 days after Ashura, commemorates the martyrdom of Prophet Mohammed's grandson, Imam Hussain, who was martyred by the army of Yazid I in the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD on the 10th day of Muharram, as he and his companions fought for justice.
